Damian CAHALANE

Amanda, Catherine, Paul, Mark and the extended family of the late Damian Cahalane wish to convey our heartfelt thanks to everyone who has supported us and are continuing to support us at this very difficult time.

We have been so comforted by the many cards, letters, calls, texts, social media posts and flowers that we received, and greatly appreciate everyone who took the time to attend the wake, funeral or who got in touch with us in any way.

We would like to especially thank the following people:

Our wonderful friends, family and neighbours who brought and prepared food at the wake, and those who helped us behind the scenes in arranging Damian's funeral.

Clogher Valley Care and Ardmore medical practice for their care and support of Damian over the years.

We are indebted to Dungannon Thomas Clarke GFC for everything they have done, particularly stewarding and help throughout the wake, we are extremely grateful.

We offer sincere thanks to Dean Kevin Donaghy for Damian's beautiful Requiem Mass, and to Margaret Anne Conlon and Patrick for the beautiful music during the ceremony. We are hugely grateful to those family members who did the readings, prayers of the faithful and reflection.

A huge thank you to the people who lined the road for Damian's procession to the church. Dungannon Eoghan Ruadh hurling club for their guard of honour on the Donaghmore road. Thomas Clarke GFC for their touching guard of honour at the club, church and escort to the graveyard.

We also thank PJ Quinn Funeral Directors for their exemplary, dignified and thoughtful service to us, and to those who prepared Damian's final resting place. We would also like to thank the staff at the Gables restaurant for the lovely meal they served us after the funeral.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, the Holy Sacrifice of Mass will be offered for your intentions.

Damian's Month’s Mind Mass will take place at 7.30pm on August 11th in St. Patrick’s Church Dungannon.

Have you considered?
