Daniel (Dan) Boner
Daniel (Dan) Boner RIP.
The Boner family wish to express our sincere thanks and appreciation for all those who offered their condolences, prayers and support during our recent bereavement.
Many thanks to all those who attended the wake, funeral, sent Mass and sympathy cards, flowers and those who offered a helping hand during this difficult time. We would like to give a special thanks to our wider family circle, friends and neighbours for their great kindness and support during this time.
Special thanks to all the staff and doctors at Oaks Family Practice, especially Dr Alistair Brown, for the exemplary care they gave Dad over the many years as a patient, helping him maintain a healthy life and keeping him fairly mobile & independant until the age of 98yrs.
The family would like to thank Kevin Quinn and family at K M Quinn Funeral Directors for the dignified and sensitive manner in which they carried out the wake & funeral arrangements.
We would also like to thank Fr Brian McNally (PP) & Fr Lawrence Boyle (PP) for accommodating Dan’s nephew Fr Christopher Hogg to come specially from Portugal to celebrate the Requiem Mass. Thanks also to the Bernie Devlin for the lovely music which Dad would have loved.
A final special thank you to Michaela McDonald, her family & staff from Noir Coffee @ Secret Gallery for all their support in taking care of the catering during the Wake at such short notice and for the lovely refreshments provided after the funeral service.
As it’s impossible to thank everyone individually and we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation.
Dan’s month’s mind Mass will be celebrated on Sunday 1st March 2026 at 12.00 in Holy Trinity Church, Cookstown.
St Brigid pray for us.
