Daniel STANTON

Died 16th September 2023, peacefully at home. Late of Belfast, formerly of Mersea Island and London.

Beloved husband of Eithne and adoring father of Alice. Cherished son of the late Barry and Nan Stanton. Treasured son-in-law of the late Larry and Roma Ryan. Much loved and loving brother of Deb (Prytherch) and the late Nigel.

Sadly missed by his sisters-in-law, Hélène, Valery, Mary and Baírbre, Brothers-in-law Dai, Martyn, Lawrence, Brendan and Ian. Much loved uncle of John, Paul, Harry, Jenny, Felix, Maeve, Cormac, Patrick and Sophie.

Will be greatly missed by his many and treasured friends, and his dear colleagues at BBC NI.

Dan’s remains will be reposing at O’Kanes Funeral Directors, 116-118 Donegall Street, Belfast BT1 2GX Telephone 02890 243129. Family will be in attendance from 3pm-5pm on Friday 22nd September.

Funeral will leave on Saturday at 11.45pm to arrive at The Good Shepherd Church, Ormeau Road, Belfast for a Service at 12.30pm, followed by committal at Roselawn Crematorium at 2.00pm.
