On behalf of the family of Daniel (Danny) McQuilkin, died 13th August 2025.

We, the family of the late Danny McQuilkin wish to extend our gratitude to all who supported and sympathised with us on the recent loss of our much loved and cherished father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother, Danny.

To everyone who called at the home, attended the wake and funeral, sent mass and sympathy cards or remembered us in prayer, we are deeply grateful.

We especially thank our immediate and extended family, neighbours, friends and those who provided and helped with food and refreshments. We appreciated it very much.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Dr Harkin and Dr Devlin and the wonderful staff of the Foyle Hospice who made Danny’s final weeks as comfortable, dignified and pain-free as possible, and to the home care staff for their daily support and care provided in such a cheerful and friendly way.

Sincere thanks to Father Stephen Ward for celebrating the beautiful requiem mass for Danny and to the talented musicians who provided such lovely music, and to the church sacristan and the grave diggers for their role also.

Thank you too to W J O’Brien & Son’s Funeral Directors, Eglinton, for their professionalism and attention to every detail. It was all exactly as our father would have wished.

It is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere, gratitude and appreciation.
