David LOUGHERY
The family of the late David Loughery wish to express their sincere thanks to all who sympathised
with them in their recent bereavement.
We would like to thank all who gave donations in lieu of flowers, visited the family home, sent cards,
messages, telephoned, and attended the funeral. It was very much appreciated. Your presence, kind
words, thoughts, and condolences gave comfort and strength at a very difficult time.
A special word of thanks to Rev. Robert Buick for his comforting words and prayers at the funeral service.
We also thank Rev. Buick, Rev. Hibbert, and George Walker who visited David in both Altnagelvin Hospital
and Foyle Hospice.
Thanks and appreciation to all the health care professionals who looked after David in recent times, especially
those within Ward 24 Altnagelvin Hospital. Sincere thanks to Dr John McGoran who David appreciated so much,
and to Hannah, Mairaed and Catriona - his district nurses for the care shown to David in his family home.
We will be forever grateful to all the staff at the Foyle Hospice who supported David and our family with such
kindness, compassion, and dignity, bringing comfort and reassurance during his final days.
Finally we want to convey our sincere gratitude to David and Ruth Hay Funeral Directors, for guiding us through
the funeral arrangements with such kindness and professionalism. We appreciate the dignified manner in which all
funeral arrangements were conducted.
It is impossible to thank everyone individually, and we trust this acknowledgment will be accepted by all as a token
of our deepest appreciation.
