We, the family of the late David Bonner, wish to sincerely thank all those who supported and sympathised with us during our recent bereavement.
Our deep appreciation goes to all the staff at Harold McCauley House where David received such diligent care. Our thanks are also extended to the staff of Three Spires Medical Practice for their medical attention and to David’s former carers who assisted him at home. We thank most sincerely Fr. McElhennon for his spiritual guidance in David’s final illness.
We are indebted to Fr. Canning who supported us at the wake and also to Fr. Gallagher who officiated at his Requiem Mass. Our gratitude is extended to Colette McAlister and Bernie Devlin for the beautiful music throughout the service; to the Sacristan; and to the pupils and teachers of St. Mary’s Primary School, Killyclogher who formed a Guard of Honour before Mass. Our appreciation also goes to the gravedigger at Dublin Road Cemetery and to Peter O’Kane Funeral Directors for their professionalism and the dignified way in which the funeral was conducted.
To everyone who sent Mass cards, messages of sympathy, to those who supported us during the wake and funeral or helped us in any way at this difficult time, we extend our sincere and heartfelt thanks.
David’s Month’s Mind Mass will be held at 7pm on Saturday, 30th May in Christ the King Church, Strathroy.
