We the family of the late David Gilfillan wish to express our sincere and heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised and supported us during the recent bereavement of our Dad.
To everyone who called at the house, and attended his funeral, it meant so much to see so many people who knew Dad throughout his life.
Also, to those who sent messages, cards and flowers from afar, this was very much appreciated.
It is impossible for us to thank everyone individually and we apologise if we miss anyone but there is some, we wish to acknowledge.
The staff of Hillview Care Home who looked after Dad in his final months and a special thank you to John.
A special thanks to the Rev Charles Clements for not only conducting the funeral service, but for his pastoral care with Dad in hospital and ourselves during the wake.
Trinity Presbyterian Church who ensured that everything went smoothly and to Stanley Matthews church organist.
Thanks must go to Armstrong Funeral Directors for the professional and dignified manner in which they carried out their duties.
