The death has occurred of:
David Hamill
We the family of the Late David Hamill wish to extend our gratitude to everyone who expressed their sympathy and support to us during our recent bereavement.
We are grateful to everyone who paid their respects at the wake, send mass or sympathy cards, shared their condolences online and all who attended the funeral and traveled long distances to be with us.
We are truly grateful to our extended family, friends and neighbours for the respect, kindness and outstanding support they give us during the wake and funeral. Special thanks to those who brought food, served the refreshments and helped in so many ways.
We extend our sincere appreciation to the Doctors, nurses and carers in Beaumont and Cavan hospitals who looked after David in his final weeks
Thank you to Fr Early and to Fr Joyce who called to our home and conducted a beautiful funeral mass, to Amelia McCormick for the beautiful singing, readers, Eucharistic ministers and everyone who took part. We extend our appreciation to those who took part in the Guard of Honor.
A special thanks to the grave digger, Damien Morgan and to all those who helped in preparing David’s final resting place with such care and dignity.
Thank you to the staff of Sliabh Beagh hotel who supplied the refreshment and parking during the wake and to McEntee buses for the transport to the home.
We are deeply grateful to Connolly Funeral Directors for their compassion and professionalism in arranging the wake and funeral, giving us the family peace of mind in knowing that everything was being organised to the highest of standards.
As it is impossible to thank you all individually, please accept this acknowledgement of the family’s appreciation of your support.
David’s Months Mind mass will be celebrated on Saturday 7th March at 7pm in St. Josephs Church, Knockatallon.
