Called home 1st March 2026, peacefully at hospital.

Late of Churchill Drive, Carrickfergus.

Loving and devoted husband of Sandra. Much loved dad of Judith and husband Andy, Alan and partner Julie. Proud grandfather to Rachel, Laura, Amy, Anna and Evie. Great-grandfather to Lola and Noah. Loving brother of Robert, Joan and Miriam. Brother-in-law to Anne, Bobby and Trevor. A loving uncle to his nephews and nieces and his daughter-in-law Karen.

Friends are welcome to call at the family home between 2.00 and 5.00pm on Wednesday 4th and Thursday 5th March.

After a private family committal, a service of Thanksgiving for David’s life will be held in Carrickfergus Baptist Church on Friday 6th March at 7.00 p.m.

Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu of flowers, if desired to the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (R.N.L.I.) c/o S&J Irvine 31-35 Irish Quarter South, Carrickfergus, BT38 8BL (cheques made payable to the above charity please; card payments welcome via telephone on 028 9335 1540 Mon-Fri 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. Cash donations also welcome.)

David will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his entire family circle.
