Thank you to all who brought gifts, sent cards and messages, visited and helped at the house, attended the funeral service and made donations to Bowel Cancer Research and Marie Curie.

A special word of thanks to all the medical professionals who were involved in David’s care over the last 5 years but especially Drs Catherine Davison and Gemma Cory and the staff of Laurel House, the district nurses and Marie Curie nurses and staff.

Thanks also to Rev Stephen McCracken for his pastoral care and support and for conducting the funeral service, Rev Jim Thompson for his pastoral care and for his part in the funeral service, Rev Stephen Hibbert for leading the congregation in prayer. Jeremy Murray for his technical expertise which enabled family and friends overseas to be included in the funeral service. Thanks also to David’s niece Les Magee for the uplifting funeral music and Lucy McComill for the beautiful solo. To the RUC GC Association for providing a Guard of Honour and David Linton for playing the pipes and to Iris’s Kitchen for providing and serving the funeral tea.

Finally to David Robinson for his friendship to David and for the caring, supportive and professional manner of him and his team at such a difficult time.

Trusting that this acknowledgment will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere thanks, love and appreciation.
