The wife, sisters and family circle of the late David Neill wish to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with them on their recent bereavement.

Special thanks to Rev Olivia Downey for her tireless pastoral support and prayers during David’s illness and the care and encouragement she continues to give. Thanks also to the Rev Downey for conducting the funeral service and for heartfelt reflection on David’s life . To Mrs Diane Simpson for kindly playing the organ and for members of the Select Vestry for all their practical help during the funeral and support since. Thanks also to Solace Catering for providing refreshments following the funeral.

Sincere thanks also to David’s comrades in the UDR Association for the dignified manner in which they paid their respects to him at the church and the graveyard and to the guard of honour, piper and bugler and to the members of the various shooting and gun clubs to which David belonged who attended and shared so many fond memories of him.

Heartfelt thanks to all the kind friends who called at the home, brought gifts, gave donations, sent messages of sympathy, attended the funeral or helped in any way. Special thanks to Dessie Millar and family for his continual help and support.

A word of thanks to the staff of 3 South in Craigavon Area Hospital for their kindness and care of David during his short illness.

Finally, we would like to express our appreciation to Fred Martin and Sons for the professionalism and help throughout this difficult time.
