Acknowledgement

David’s wife Pearl, son Malcolm, daughter Carolanne, son in law Giles and grandchildren Alfie, Taylor and Ruby wish to thank everyone who sympathised with them on their sad bereavement.
Heartfelt thanks to all who came to visit dad during his final weeks, called to our family home during Dad's wake and attended his funeral service to support us and offer their condolences and those unable to attend who watched online. Thank you to everyone who took the time to send cards, gifts, letters, messages via text and social media these were much appreciated.
To those who have given donations in lieu of flowers in Dad’s memory to the Parish of Urney, thank you.
A special word of thanks to Dr Dinsmore and all the staff at Strabane Health Centre, the treatment room, district nursing team, community and hospital respiratory nurses and palliative care team for the care they provided to Dad throughout his long illness. As a family we are totally indebted to the support we were also given and take great comfort that Dad's final days were of contentment at home.
To the Reverend Jonathon Mc Farland for the pastoral care and support provided to Dad during his illness, attendance to the family home in his final days which provided him and the entire family with much comfort and peace and for his fitting tribute to Dad at his funeral.
Thank you to Ronnie Patton, Church warden and Andy Milligan for your help during the wake and funeral service, Ruby Trimble, organist and to Kenny Moan for his beautiful piping which would have meant the world to Dad.
To Rose, thank you for your craic, unwavering care, love and support to Dad as his health deteriorated. To Carolanne’s friend Emma for all your help and support during Dad’s ill health.
Special word of thanks to Dad’s neighbours Eugene, Estelle and family for all your help, support and in particular for all your visits and chats with Dad, it always lifted his spirits.
