The death has occurred of:
Declan O'Neill
The family of the late Declan O’Neill wishes to express their sincere and heartfelt appreciation to all those who extended their sympathy and support following their recent loss. Your presence at the wake, attendance at the funeral, cards and practical help have been a great source of consolation to the family.
We would like to extend our thanks to Father Kingsley Idoghor for his comforting presence and for officiating the beautiful Requiem Mass. Our thanks also go to Niamh Lavery and Ciaran Scullion for their exceptional musical contribution which added so much to the service.
Our heartfelt thanks to Éire Óg GAC and Lurgan Tennis club for their recognition of Declan and to the many members who paid their respects. Many thanks also to his long-standing 5-a-side teammates, work colleagues and old school friends who attended his wake or funeral which was much appreciated by the family.
A special word of thanks to the young friends of Jack and Emma who were very supportive in their time of need.
A word of appreciation also to Lismore College who have exhibited great understanding and support for the family.
A very special word of thanks to the Palliative Care team, Marie Curie nurses and District nurses for their outstanding care shown to Declan and the family during his last days at home. Your kindness has been of great comfort to us during this difficult time.
Additionally, we wish to thank Patrick O’Hagan for organising catering and Éire Óg GAC for the generous use of their hall. Your support has been deeply appreciated.
We would also like to express our sincere thanks to all the McAlinden & Murtagh staff for their guidance, professionalism and sensitivity during what has been an extremely difficult time.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgment will be accepted as a token of our profound gratitude.
Declan’s Month’s Mind Mass will take place on Saturday, 18th October at 10:30 am in St. Paul's Church, Lurgan.
