Deirdre KEARNEY (née Smith)
Deirdre Kearney (nee Smith), of Cushendall, Co Antrim and late of Belfast, peacefully on 1st March 2026 in her 82nd year.
Beloved wife of Jim and much loved mother of Nicola, Andrew, Elaine and the late Jennifer. Deeply regretted by her son-in-law Bertie (Kelly), daughter-in-law Kim, Phil, her cherished grandchildren Molly, Ben, Karl, Eoin, Joe, Lucy, Orla, Ella and Arthur, her siblings Albert, Philip and Patricia. Predeceased by her brother Kenneth.
Deirdre will be very sadly missed by her wide circle of friends and neighbours, and her many golfing friends from Cushendall Golf Club, Fortwilliam Golf Club, and Vilamoura, Portugal.
Reposing at home. All welcome to call on Monday 2nd March from 3pm to 7pm and Tuesday 3rd March from 1pm to 7pm. Private family time outside of these hours.
Her remains will leave her home at 11.30am, arriving for Requiem Mass in St Mary’s Church, Cushendall, BT44 ORS at 12noon on Wednesday 4th March, followed by burial in the adjoining graveyard.
