We the family of the late Dermot would like to express our deep appreciation and heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised, prayed for, and supported us through our recent sad bereavement. Dermot was the dearly loved brother of Barney, Donal, Kevin, Sally, Maggie and the late Jean, Seamus, Charlie, Owen and Johnny and a much loved brother in law, uncle and friend.
We would like to acknowledge all those who paid their respects in any way. Sincere thanks to those who sent Mass or sympathy cards, flowers or donations in lieu, and to those who left messages online or via social media.
Thank you to those who called to the wake in Grianan House Funeral Home, helped or brought food, this was greatly appreciated. Thank you to those who lined the funeral route or who joined us at the funeral Mass.
Sincere thanks to all our relatives, friends and neighbours who helped us in so many ways, to grieve together as a family.
A special word of thanks to Father Seán Mulligan P.P for his spiritual support and for the very comforting requiem Mass. We convey our appreciation also to the Sacristan and everyone who took part in the Liturgy, especially our readers, and our singer Louise Coyle, who provided the beautiful reverent and uplifting music.
Thank you to McAtee Funeral Directors for the dignified and professional manner, in which the funeral arrangements were carried out and to the gravediggers for preparing Dermot’s final resting place. Our thanks also to Roisin of Nettles and Petals for the lovely floral tribute.
And finally, we would like to sincerely thank all the medical professionals with whom Dermot came into contact. We are very grateful for the kindness and respect shown to Dermot.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a gesture of our family’s deepest gratitude.
Dermot was greatly loved and will be missed every day. May his gentle, kind, generous soul be granted peace and eternal rest. His Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in St Lawrence’s Church, Fintona on Saturday 17th January at 6.00pm. Our Lady pray for him.
