Died 25th March 2026. Peacefully at Lakeview Nursing Home surrounded by his loving family.

Beloved husband of Ann and much loved father of Donna and Christopher. 35 Cidercourt Drive, Crumlin. Rest In Peace.

Donald will be reposing at Eastwood Funeral Home, Main Street Crumlin on Friday from 9.00am to 5.00pm and Saturday 9.00am to 1.00pm.

Donald will be removed from his home on Tuesday at 10.20am to St Josephs Church, Glenavy for 11.00am Requiem mass. This can be viewed at https://churchmedia.tv/Glenavy Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Callers are welcome to the family home on Sunday from 3.00pm to 8.00pm and on Monday from 11.00am to 8.00pm.

Deeply regretted by his sorrowing wife, son, daughter, Christopher’s partner Victoria, son-in-law Nolan, brothers James and Cyril, sister-in-law Marion and Siobhan, grandchildren Daniel, Eoin, Katie and Zara and entire family circle.

Deepest sympathy to Ann Christopher Donna and the family circle.
Just some of the memories. Planting trees in Bundoran and cutting them down at Billy‘s on the Lurgan Road. Hunting for good Holly in the glen for the wreaths. Laying a driveway and sneaking that extra piece of cake or biscuit (Don’t tell Ann) Hunting and fishing. Being the man to go to for that unusual gadget. Always helping the pensioners and sitting on committees and selling tickets and almost anything else.But most of all drinking pints of the dark stuff telling yarns and putting the world to rights. A real country man at heart; a breed that will be harder to find now that you are in a better place. I know you have that smile on your face now. It has been an honour.
