Donna's partner Alan, her son Jay, the McCloskey family and the Smyth family, would like to express our heartfelt thanks to everyone who sympathised with us on the recent death of our beloved Donna.

We are sincerely grateful to all who attended the wake and funeral and sent mass cards, sympathy cards, made donations in lieu of flowers and supported us in so many ways.  We cannot thank you all enough.

We would like to thank the medical staff of Ward 40 and all the other wards that Donna was cared for, and to Eglinton Medical Practice for their care over the years.  A special thanks to the Ambulance staff and Paramedics who attended Donna on many occasions. We are truly grateful.

Our sincere thanks to Father Canny, who attended her in hospital and to Father McDermott for the lovely Requiem Mass, homily and to Monsignor Dolan for the blessing and prayers at the graveside.  Thanks also to Denise O'Kane for the beautiful singing at the Mass.

We would like to thank all the ladies who provided and served the tea at the wake at W J O’Brien & Son's funeral home. We will never forget your help and kindness.

Our sincere thanks to Kieran and Noeleen and all the staff of W J O’Brien & Son Funeral Directors, Eglinton for the caring and dignified manner in which the wake and funeral was carried out.  Their kindness and guidance was greatly appreciated by our families at such a difficult time.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted as an expression of sincere appreciation.

Donna’s month’s mind will be celebrated at 5pm on Saturday 31st January in Star of the Sea Church, Faughanvale. All welcome.
