The family of the late Dympna Corey, would like to express our sincere thanks to those who supported us during our recent bereavement. Dympna was a cherished mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose warmth and love knew no bounds and whose absence has left a void that can never be filled. Her laughter filled our homes, her wisdom guided our paths, and her love was the foundation of our family.

In this difficult time, our family has been enveloped in a community embrace that we never expected. The waves of support have truly been our solace, and we wish to express our deepest gratitude to everyone who has been our strength. To our extended family, friends, and neighbours, your overwhelming support has been a source of immense comfort during our loss.

Our heartfelt thanks are extended to the compassionate staff at the MacMillan unit, the devoted doctors and staff at Loy Medical Centre, Dr. Hawe, and the team at the Mid Ulster Clinic, whose tireless efforts provided solace and care. We are also indebted to the district nurses, the extra care team, the hospice nurses and Sadie Campbell, whose kindness has been a beacon of light in our darkest times. The Marie Curie night sitting team deserves special recognition for their gentle presence throughout the nights.
We also wish to express our sincere appreciation to Niall A. Loughran for their professional and dignified handling of the arrangements, which provided us with solace and peace.

We were blessed with the spiritual guidance of Father Boyle PP, whose beautiful Mass touched the hearts of all who attended, and we are forever grateful to Fr Slater and the Sisters of Mercy Nuns for their prayers and comforting presence.

We extend a special word of gratitude to the Glenavon House Hotel for their gracious hospitality and for providing a comforting space and dinner after Dympna’s funeral.

We acknowledge with heartfelt appreciation that it would be impossible to extend our thanks individually to every kind soul who has offered their support in this time of grief. Each gesture has touched us deeply, and we sincerely hope that this acknowledgment will be received as a symbol of our profound gratitude. Your compassion has been a comfort to us all, and for this, we are eternally grateful.

As we continue to navigate through this time of mourning, we find peace in knowing that Dympna’s love and legacy will forever be a guiding star in our lives. We pray that this message serves as a testament to our appreciation for the love and support that so many have provided.

Please join us in remembering Dympna at her Month's Mind, to be held on Sunday, 26th November at 12pm at Holy Trinity Church, Cookstown. This service will be an opportunity for us all to come together once again to celebrate her life and to find comfort in shared memories and prayers.
