Eddie McCULLAGH
Eddie McCullagh
Barness, Plumbridge
We, the family of the late Eddie McCullagh, wish to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised and supported us in our recent sad bereavement. We are very grateful to our family, friends and neighbours who helped us during this time, especially our nearest neighbours, the McCullagh family and a special mention to Lisa who did so much over both days of the wake.
We thank everyone who came to the wake and funeral, sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, enrolments, telephoned, called at the house, brought gifts of food, everything was so appreciated by us all. Sincere thanks to the members of Glenelly St Joseph’s for organising and stewarding the traffic during the wake and for the Guard of Honour at the funeral.
We thank Fr Donnelly for the Requiem Mass and Mary & Sean Brines for the beautiful singing. Thanks also to Kieran Kirk Funeral Director for the helpful, caring and professional manner in which he managed the wake & funeral and thanks to the gravedigger John and sacristan Christine. Many thanks too for the team who provided the lovely tea & refreshments in the Parish Hall after the funeral.
We will never forget, and thank you so very much, Eddie’s great carers from the Western Trust and from NW Care. We are so indebted to you all. Thanks also to the Ambulance crew and the medical staff at A&E, Altnagelvin Hospital who provided exceptional care, making Eddie’s last hours as comfortable as possible. Also, thanks to Dr McAuley & the staff of Sperrin Family Practice, Corry’s Chemist, and the District Nursing team for all the excellent care & advice provided to Eddie recently and through the years. We also acknowledge with thanks the wonderful help and care Eddie received during his long stay in Spruce House, Altnagelvin while recuperating after his operation.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope that this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our appreciation & gratitude.
Eddie’s Month Mind Mass is at 10am on Sunday 16 July in Sacred Heart Church, Plumbridge.
