The family of the late Dawna Laird would like to sincerely thank everyone for sympathising and supporting them during their recent bereavement. Your visit to David and Ruth Hay Funeral Home, your attendance at the Funeral, your condolences, cards and gifts will always be remembered and appreciated.
We offer our heartfelt thanks to Rev. Paul Linkens for his pastoral care before at The Foyle Hospice and after Dawna's passing and also for conducting the Funeral Service.
We offer sincere gratitude to the Doctors and Nursing Staff at Belfast City Hospital and The Cancer Unit at Altnagelvin Hospital who cared for Dawna during her stay at both Hospitals.
To the Macmillan Cancer Support Staff who were most helpful with their information, guidance and most important the required contacts during a very difficult and confusing time.
To the Doctors, Nurses and all the Support Staff at Foyle Hospice who cared for Dawna during her short stay. The calmness and peaceful environment were reflected by the dedication, professionalism and compassion shown by the Doctors and Nurses. This was
also extended and shown by the Administration, Catering and Cleaning Staff, which removed any fears and anxieties which Dawna may have had.
To Paul Mason and his Staff at the Millenium Forum where Dawna worked. Thank you for your visits to Dawna during her illness and attendance at the Funeral.
To her life-long friends Alma and Susan who were with Dawna during the good times as well as the difficult times supporting and encouraging Dawna when she needed it most, thank you both from all the family
Finally, a sincere thank you to David & Ruth Hay and Sons Funeral Home, 24A Church Road, for the help and sympathetic care shown to us at this sad time, for hosting the wake at the Funeral Home and for carrying out the Funeral in a most dignified and very professional manner.
