We, the family of the late Edmund McGahan RIP would like to thank all those who sympathised with us on our recent bereavement. Thank you to all who called to the funeral home, attended the removal and funeral, sent Mass Cards, Sympathy Cards, flowers and messages of condolence.
To Rev. Dean Donaghy for a beautiful, fitting Requiem Mass and to Rev. Fr. John Hughes for officiating at the Mass and burial.
We would like to express our sincere thanks to all in Sanville Nursing Home who looked after Edmund with such kindness, compassion and dignity. We would also like to thank the doctors and nurses from the Acute Care Team who looked after Edmund in his final days.
Thanks also to Killyman GFC for providing a guard of honour at Edmund’s removal.
We thank Patsy and Edel Taggart, Funeral Undertakers for the professional and dignified way in which they carried out the funeral arrangements.
Thanks also to Siobhan Robinson for the beautiful music and to the gravedigger for preparing Edmund’s final resting place. Thanks also to the sacristan for all her work preparing the church.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a sincere expression of our appreciation.
Edmund’s Months Mind Mass will be celebrated in St. Brigid’s Church, Killyman on Sunday,18th of January 2026 at 11am.
