The Late Edward Barras
Who entered eternal life on 21st. January 2024.
We, the son Aaron and daughter Aisling of our dearest daddy, wish to express our sincere thanks to all those who sympathised with us on our recent heartbreaking passing of our daddy, granda and great-grandfather.
To his neighbours, to those who sent cards, flowers, messages, even said a prayer for him, attended the funeral or watched it online. We thank you.
A huge thank you to the ambulance service and A&E doctors and nurses, all the staff on Ward 26, the nurse specialist Karen and Helen, Dr. Kelly, Dr. Porter and our G.P. Dr. Lalsingh, the Foyle Hospice nurse Caroline, district nurses Rosena and Sinead. You are all earth angels. Our daddy's last few weeks were more comfortable for him because of you all.
Thank you to The Sandwich Co (The Diamond) for supplying the beautiful food over the wake.
To Annmarie and Aidan, what can we say, the music was so beautiful and uplifting, just so personal to us, very fitting and gave us great comfort. We are so greatful to you both.
A special thanks to Rev. Ignacy Sanuita for our daddy's blessing before he slipped away and for conducting such a beautiful and touching mass.
The professionalism carried out by Bradley & McLaughlin was outstanding, every detail sorted to the highest standard and so caring towards us throughout this heartbreaking time.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our heartfelt appreciation.
We will be celebrating our daddy's Month's Mind Mass on Tuesday 20th. February at 7:30 p.m. in St. Mary's Chapel, Creggan. All Welcome.
