We, the family of Edweena Begley, would like to express our heartfelt gratitude
to everyone who supported us during this difficult time.
Your kindness, comforting words, and gestures of sympathy
have provided immense comfort and reassurance,
and we are deeply appreciative of the love shown to our mummy and to us.
Thank you to all who attended the wake and funeral, sent cards, flowers, or messages,
and to those who kept us in their thoughts.
Your support has meant more than words can say
and will always be remembered with sincere thanks.
We would also like to thank the “Devenney Girls”
for their invaluable support and help during the wake,
and our cousin Pat for the beautiful floral arrangements in the house.
Their thoughtfulness and generosity meant so much to us at this time.
We are especially grateful to Fr Séan O’Donnell for the lovely Funeral Mass,
and to all those who participated in the liturgy, readings, and offertory.
Our heartfelt thanks also go to Gerard and Michelle for the beautiful music and singing,
which brought comfort and warmth to the ceremony.
We would like to extend our deepest thanks to all those who cared for mummy during her illness.
This includes the Home Care Support teams and Dorena
for their attentive care assisting her while she was at home.
The staff of Woodmount Nursing Home for the exceptional care that mummy received, they treated her
like a member of their own family, with dignity, kindness, and compassion throughout.
We are also especially grateful to Joan for her kindness and friendship throughout mummy’s illness,
which brought comfort to both her and our family.
A special word of thanks to Jude and the staff of Quigley’s Funeral Home
for their compassion throughout this difficult time.
Their professionalism and understanding made the process easier for our family,
and we are truly grateful for their support.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust this acknowledgement
will be accepted as a token of our appreciation and gratitude
to all who supported us during this difficult time.
