Eileen Mullin, Ashfield Gardens,
Fintona, Died 23rd September 2025.
The recent loss of our much loved Eileen has left a deep void in the lives and hearts of all who knew and loved her. Eileen was widely respected in the community, but primarily she was a devoted family lady. Loving wife of the late Damien, adored mother of Francie (Geraldine), Brenda (Adam), Johnny (Stephanie) and Seamus (Ciara). Dearly loved grandmother and much loved sister, aunt and friend.
We, her family would like to express our deep appreciation and heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised, prayed for, and supported us during our recent sad bereavement.
We would like to acknowledge all those who paid their respects in any way. Thank you to those who sent Mass or sympathy cards, and to those who left messages online or via social media.
Thank you to those who called to Grianan House Funeral Home, brought food, or helped, this was greatly appreciated, and to those who lined the funeral route or who joined us at the requiem Mass.
We are blessed to have had the love and support of our family, friends, neighbours and work colleagues, throughout this difficult time, this has helped us in so many ways to grieve as a family.
A special word of thanks to Father Seán Mulligan for his spiritual support and the very comforting requiem Mass. We convey our appreciation also to the Sacristan and everyone who took part in the Liturgy, especially our readers, and our musician Ciara Fox who provided the beautiful reverent and uplifting music.
Thank you to McAtee Funeral Directors for the dignified and professional manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out, and to the gravedigger Tommy for preparing Eileen's final resting place. Our thanks also to the St. Patrick’s Hall ladies for the very welcome refreshments after the funeral.
And finally we send our grateful thanks to all the health professionals who helped with Eileen’s care during her illness, especially the staff of the Respiratory Ward, Altnagelvin Hospital. We are very grateful for your help and for the kindness shown to our Mum.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a gesture of our family’s deepest gratitude.
Eileen is forever loved and greatly missed every day. May her passionate, kind and generous soul be granted peace and eternal rest. Her Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in St. Lawrence’s Church, Fintona on Saturday 18th October at 6pm.
Our Lady pray for her.
