Acknowledgement
Eileen Dunn
12th July 2026
The family of the late Eileen Dunn wish to express thanks and appreciation to everyone who supported us following the loss of our precious Mum. We are deeply thankful for the many messages of sympathy, cards and generous donations in lieu of flowers to Silverdale Care Facility. Your kindness, support and compassion were a great comfort to our family during this difficult time.
We would like to thank everyone who attended Eileen’s wake and funeral to pay their respects and celebrate her life. We express our gratitude to the staff at Silverdale Care Home for their care and compassion over the years.
Sincere thanks to Trinity Presbyterian Church and Rev Jane Nelson for their pastoral care. Also, to Rev Gunther Andrich for conducting the funeral service.
Thanks also to the organist, Mr Stanley Matthews, and to those who prepared Eileen’s final resting place. Appreciation to Barbara Pinkerton and her Team for the catering at the wake and funeral.
Finally, our special thanks to Derek and all at Armstrong’s for their compassion, guidance and professionalism throughout this difficult time. Their care, support and attention to detail were deeply appreciated by our entire family.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a sincere and heartfelt appreciation.
Eileen was a much loved mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend.
She is sadly missed and fondly remembered.
