Eileen McGahan
We the sisters of the late Eileen McGahan RIP wish to express our heartfelt
thanks and appreciation to everyone who sympathised and supported us during
the recent sad bereavement of our sister Eileen.
To our wonderful family, friends and neighbours who left food, helped set up
the wake, sent messages of support, mass and sympathy cards and who kept us in
their prayers, thank you.
We would like to send our deep appreciation to the staff of Greenpark and
Collegeland Nursing Homes who cared for Eileen so diligently and
compassionately over the last year, your kindness will be forever in our hearts.
To the doctors and especially Dr Colleran and Dr McConville, nurses and district
nurses in Moy Health Centre and the carers from Enable Care who attended Eileen over the years, we appreciate your compassion.
A special word of thanks to Fr. Peter McAnenly and Fr. David Nugent who
provided spiritual guidance and solace to Eileen over the years. To Cardinal
Sean Brady who attended the wake, led prayers in the house and who celebrated
Eileen’s funeral mass and offered words of comfort to the family, we wish to
acknowledge our heartfelt appreciation. To Fr. Barry Matthews who concelebrated the
funeral mass and spoke so warmly about Eileen, we thank you.

Sincere appreciation to Catherine Grimley Hughes and Rory Madden for their beautiful singing and musical pieces which enhanced the mass so much and to the Eucharistic Ministers who participated in the mass.
We wish to express our thanks to the sacristan Kieran Toal who prepared the
chapel and the gravedigger Andrew Stevenson who so carefully and meticulously
prepared Eileen's final resting place.
Thank you to McEntee’s Catering who provided refreshments in the Community Centre
afterwards.
Finally, to Damian Smith and Sons Undertakers who provided our family with
compassion and professionalism throughout this time.

We are mindful we may have missed out some people but rest assured we
appreciated everything and everyone who helped us and continues to support us
as a family.

The Holy sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for all your intentions.
Eileen’s Month Mind Mass will be celebrated on Sunday 7th December at 10am in The Church of the Immaculate Conception, Tullysaran.
May Eileen rest in eternal peace.
