The sons, daughters and extended family of the late Eileen McGinley wish to express our heartfelt thanks and sincere appreciation to everyone who supported us during our recent bereavement.

We are deeply grateful to all who called to the wake, attended the funeral, sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, messages of condolence and floral tributes. Your kindness, prayers and support brought great comfort to us at this difficult time.

A special word of thanks to the staff of Sandville Nursing Home for the love, care and kindness shown to Mum in her final days. Your compassion and dedication meant so much to Mum and to our family.

We also wish to thank the carers from Anne’s Home Care who cared for Mum so attentively while she was at home.

Our sincere thanks to the team at Parklands Medical Centre, and to Paul and Sheena Donaghy, pharmacists, for their kindness and for delivering Mum’s medication.

We are especially grateful to our kind neighbours and friends, and to everyone who helped in any way during the wake and who provided food and refreshments. Your generosity and thoughtfulness will never be forgotten.

A heartfelt thank you to Fr Eugene O’Neill for attending Mum in her final days, and to Dean Donaghy for the beautiful and fitting way he celebrated the Funeral Mass and honoured Mum’s life. We also thank Stacey and Damien for the beautiful singing and music during the Mass, which brought great comfort to us all.

Sincere thanks to Michael Dorman and son, and especially to Peter Devlin for his guidance and professionalism. Thanks also to Gary and Mark for preparing Mum’s final resting place, and to Paddy the Sacristan for his help and support.

Our thanks to Lisa and Niall McKearney and the staff of The Gables for providing the lovely refreshments after the Funeral Mass.

We also thank Edendork GFC for the use of their equipment and for providing the guard of honour on the morning of Mum’s funeral.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere appreciation.

Eileen’s Month’s Mind Mass will take place on Friday 27th March at 7.30pm in St Mary’s and St Joseph’s Church, Brackaville.

Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal, St Thérèse and St Anthony, pray for the happy repose of her soul.
