We the family of Eilish Gildernew, wish to express our sincere thanks to our wider family, friends and neighbours for the kindness, sympathy, support and generosity shown in the sad loss of a much loved Wife, Mother, Mother-in-law, and Granny.
To everyone that visited our home, attended the funeral, sent messages and cards, we are deeply grateful. Your thoughtfulness brought us comfort and strength when we needed it most.
We acknowledge with special thanks the staff at Belfast City Hospital Cancer Centre for the exceptional care and support they gave.
Special thanks to Celebrant Fr Naughton and Fr Deveney for the beautiful requiem Mass and heartfelt sermon.
A sincere thanks to E. Quinn and Sons (Funeral Director) for the dignified and respectful manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out.
Special thanks also to Catherine Grimley for the beautiful music and Quinns Corner for the refreshments after the burial.
Eilish’s Months Mind Mass will be celebrated in St Mary’s Chapel, Aughnacloy on Thursday 26th March 2026 at 7.30pm.
