We the family of the late Betty Monaghan would like to express our sincere gratitude for all the kindness, support and sympathy shown during our recent loss.
We would like to thank everyone including family, friends and neighbours who attended the wake and funeral, sent messages, cards and flowers. To those who provided us with food and refreshments your kindness was very much appreciated.
We would like to say a word of thanks to all the professionals involved in the care of Betty in the past couple of months. The fantastic doctors and staff at Aberfoyle Surgery who provided the best care and support to Betty over the many years she has been a patient there. A special mention to the incredible team of carers from both Northwest Care and Bryson Care and the Hospital at Home nursing staff that came into our home and attended Betty with such respect, care and compassion. We as a family are eternally grateful
We would also like to thank Fr. Daniel McFaul for the beautiful requiem Mass and also a heartfelt thanks to the Ann-Marie and Aidan for providing such beautiful music and singing.
Finally, our sincerest thanks to Mr. Kieran Connor and all the staff at McClafferty Funeral Directors for the professional and dignified manner in which Betty’s wake and funeral were carried out and for all the support we as a family received. We will be forever grateful.

Betty’s Month Mind Mass will take place in St. Mary’s Church, Creggan on Friday 23rd January 2026 at 7:30pm. Everyone welcome.
