Elizabeth (Liz) McDaid, (nee McDaid)
Late of 57 Strangford Park, Derry
Deeply loved and sorely missed by her husband Thomas, sons Thomas and Brendan, her grandchildren Niamh and Conall, daughters-in-law Emma and Dorothy, brothers Eammon, Danny and Kieran. Lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her wider family circle and friends.

The life we both shared was so precious,
And I loved my family so,
It really broke my heart in two,
When the Lord said “It’s time to go”.
I heard you all when you spoke to me,
I heard you all when you cried.
If only I could get well again –
And believe me how I tried.
The love that was around me,
I could feel it every day,
But when the Lord called my name,
All my pain just went away.

And ease your everlasting pain,

I’m at peace and here I’ll stay,

Elizabeth’s (Liz’s) 1st anniversary mass will take place at 7.15pm on Tuesday, 27th June at Holy Family Church, Ballymagroarty, Derry.
