Family Acknowledgement for the Late Ellie Flanagan
We, the family of Ellie Flanagan wish to express our heartfelt thanks and appreciation to everyone who supported us during this deeply difficult time.
We are sincerely grateful to Ellie’s friends and neighbours of Corban Avenue, and to the entire community, for their kindness and compassion. Thank you to all who attended the wake, sent Mass cards, messages of sympathy, and beautiful floral tributes—your thoughtfulness brought us great comfort.
We extend our deepest thanks to Ellie’s pantomime family, the Lakeland Players, whose kindness to us will never be forgotten. We are also especially grateful to her close friends and colleagues at Little Foxes Playgroup, as well as to her colleagues and friends in the Devenish Partnership Forum.
Our sincere thanks to all who helped in the home and provided refreshments, your generosity meant so much to us. We also wish to thank those who provided outdoor lighting, transport and Coa O’Dwyers for use of their facilities.
We are deeply thankful to our local clergy and to all who celebrated Ellie’s Funeral Mass, especially Monsignor Peter O’Reilly for such a beautiful and uplifting celebration of Ellie’s life. A special word of thanks to Eoghan, Maeve, and Helena for the beautiful music and singing.
Special thanks to John, Paul, Roisin, and Len from McKeegan’s for the professional and dignified manner in which they conducted Ellie’s funeral, as well as the support and care given to the family.
We extend our sincere thanks to the PSNI for their support and assistance during this time. Special thanks to those who formed guards of honour for Ellie and the Westville Hotel for the refreshments after the funeral.
Finally, we are grateful to those who prepared Ellie’s final resting place in Cross Cemetery.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgment as a token of our sincere appreciation.
Ellie will always remain in our hearts.
Ellie’s Month Mind Mass will be held on Saturday 18th April at 6pm in St Michael’s Church, Enniskillen.
