We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Eugene Hegarty peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital on the 1st of May 2026. May he rest in peace.
Late of 55 Larkhill, Derry.
Beloved husband of the late Anne RIP and loving father of Catherine, Brian (Tara) Michael (Aoife) and Fiona (James). Devoted grandfather of Anya, Rory, James, Seamus, Anna, Aoibh and Kate.
Son of the late Lawrence and Margaret RIP and dear brother of Joseph, Michael, Larry, Paddy, Brian, Seamus and Mary.
Eugene is now reposing at his late home.
Family time 10pm to 12 noon.
Funeral from there on Monday 4th of May 2026 leaving at 11.30am for 12noon Requiem Mass in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Steelstown, interment afterwards in St Patrick’s Church graveyard, Claudy (arriving approximately at 1.30pm)
