ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
We, the family of the late Eugene Gibbons, wish to express our sincere and heartfelt thanks to all our family, friends, and neighbours who supported and sympathised with us during our recent bereavement. The kindness, compassion, and thoughtfulness shown to us throughout this difficult time has been a great source of comfort.
We are deeply grateful to everyone who sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, messages of support, attended the wake and funeral, or helped in any way. Your presence and generosity meant so much to us.
A special word of thanks to Dr Forgie and the staff of Waterside Hospital, and to Dr Kelly and the staff of Ward 26, Altnagelvin Hospital, for the loving care, compassion, and dignity shown to Eugene during his illness.
We wish to extend our sincere thanks to Fr Farren for celebrating such a beautiful and comforting service, and to Fr Gormley for his support and guidance during this difficult time.
A very special and heartfelt thanks to Kieran and Noeleen of W J O’Brien & Son Funeral Directors, Eglinton, for their expert guidance, professionalism, and compassion throughout the arrangements.
We also wish to thank Erin, Isobel and Sean for their beautiful music, and Josie from Flower Craft & Design for the beautiful floral arrangements.
We are also very grateful to everyone who provided food, refreshments, and practical support during the wake and funeral, especially The Cosh and Avenue 17.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a sincere expression of our deep appreciation and gratitude.
Eugene’s Month Mind Mass will take place on Sunday 10th May at 12.30pm in St. Eugene’s Cathedral.
The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
