We, the family of the late Mrs Eva O’Donnell, would like to express our heartfelt gratitude for all those who supported us during our recent bereavement.
We would like to thank all our extended family, friends and neighbours for sympathising through messages, mass cards, flowers or kind words at the wake and funeral - as we have found this to be a great source of comfort. We would like to extend special thanks to those who travelled long distances to be with us and those who helped out in providing practical assistance with food and beverages at the wake.
To Dr. Hugh Gallagher and all staff, both medical and administrative, at Glenavy Family Practice as well as the community teams and ward-level clinicians at Lagan Valley Hospital - we are deeply grateful for your dedicated care and compassion.
Thank you to Rev. Canon Colm McBride for attending the house during the wake as well as celebrating the Requiem Mass assisted by Fr. Jim Campbell. We also appreciated Liza Trainor’s beautiful singing during the service and all of those who contributed to the funeral proceedings.
We would also like to recognise Peter and his colleagues at Eastwoods Funeral Directors, for the professional and dignified manner in which they carried out the funeral arrangements.
We hope this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our appreciation for all the love and support we received during this difficult time.
Eva’s Months Mind Mass will be held in St. Joseph's Church, Glenavy at 9.30am on Friday 10th April 2026
