Evelyn McGlinchey
The entire family of the late Evelyn McGlinchey would like to express their deepest gratitude to all of those who sympathised with them in their recent bereavement.
Thanks to the Emergency Ambulance crew who attended to Evelyn at home and to all the staff at the Causeway Hospital for the outstanding and compassionate care they gave to Evelyn during her final days.
Sincere appreciation to Dr McGurk and all the staff at Kilrea Health Centre, and to Martin and all the staff at Shields Pharmacy for their professionalism, kindness, and support to Evelyn during her illness.
A special thanks to Fr Farren P.P. for his spiritual support, guidance and celebrating the requiem Mass and graveside service and to Fr Hasson for his attendance.
Thanks to Niamh McGlinchey for the beautiful music, the church sacristan Eddie Dempsey for preparing the church, Mary McNicholl for the beautiful family flowers, Aiden Reid for preparation of the grave and Barry Dallat and his staff for providing refreshments following the burial.
The family wish to especially give thanks to all the kind relatives, friends, neighbours and members of the wider community who helped them during this difficult time. Thanks to those who attended the wake, gifted food, messaged, sent cards, donated to Marie Curie in lieu of flowers and those who gathered along the funeral route and attended the funeral and burial, we are truly humbled and grateful.
Finally, we wish to convey our deep appreciation to Mairead, and all at Dempsey Funeral Directors for the dedication, compassion, professionalism and all the support they have shown to the family throughout their sad bereavement and funeral planning.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation.
The months mind Mass for Evelyn will be on Sunday 12th May at 9.45 am in Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Aghadowey.
