In Loving Memory of Fergus Duffy - Died 6th August, 2025

We, the family of Fergus, wish to express our sincere and heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported us during our recent bereavement. Your kindness, sympathy, and presence have been a great comfort to us all.

A special word of thanks to the doctors, nurses, and staff of the Respiratory Hub, Altnagelvin Hospital, the community nurses, and the dedicated team at Foyle Hospice for the exceptional care and compassion shown to Fergus throughout his illness.

We are deeply grateful to Father Peter Burns C.Ss.R. for his comforting prayers and for celebrating Fergus’ Funeral Mass, together with co-celebrants Father Colum Clerkin and Father Michael Canny.

Thank you also to Michelle & Sean Conaghan for the beautiful singing, which enriched the service so meaningfully. A special thank you to Anna Duffy for the beautiful floral arrangements, which brought comfort and warmth to the day. A heartfelt thank you to W J O’Brien & Son Funeral Directors, Eglinton, for their professionalism, guidance, and care throughout the funeral arrangements.

To everyone who called to our home, sent cards or messages, brought food, attended the wake or funeral, or supported us in any way, please accept this acknowledgment as a token of our deep appreciation.

Fergus is forever loved, sadly missed, and always remembered.

The Month’s Mind Mass for Fergus will be offered on 20th September, 2025 at 7pm in St. Columb’s Church, Chapel Road.
