Fergus Hughes
Hughes Fergus, Dromore, Co Tyrone, died peacefully at his late residence 24 Fintona Road, Dromore BT78 3EF on Monday 17th January 2022 surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Alice (nee McNulty). Cherished father of Paul (Sheena), Geraldine, Martina Crozier (Jim), Roddy (Jane), Peter (Clare) & Maria Douglas (Garrett). Treasured brother to Mary Goodwin (Scotland) and the late Hugo and Breda Hand (Scotland). Devoted and loving grandfather to his 8 grandchildren. Fergus’s remains will leave his late residence at 10.30am on Wednesday 19th January 2022 for 11am requiem Mass in St Davog’s Church, Dromore followed by his burial in the adjoining cemetery. In light of the Coronavirus and in the interests of health and safety within the community the house will be strictly private, with social distancing being adhered to at the funeral. For those who wish to show a presence along the funeral route Fergus will travel from the Fintona Road and along Main Street and Omagh Road to arrive at St Davogs Church for 10.50am. Alternatively the funeral Mass may be viewed via the Dromore Parish webcam. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving wife, sons, daughters, daughters in law, sons in law, grandchildren, sister, nieces and nephews and entire family circle. Our Lady pray for him.
