We the family of the late Fionnuala Hartigan wish to thank all those who supported us during our recent sad bereavement.
To all our family, friends and neighbours who paid their respects at the wake, sent messages of support, attended the funeral or offered support in any way: we truly appreciate it.
Our sincere thanks to the Newry Health Village, the nurses and doctors at the Cancer Centre, Belfast City Hospital and Evora Hospice in Newry for all their care and support to Fionnuala during her illness.
The funeral mass was a beautiful celebration of Fionnuala’s life, and we are forever grateful to those who helped make it such a fitting tribute to her. We wish to express our deep gratitude to Fr Patsy Mulholland for celebrating the funeral mass and providing her with great comfort during her illness.
To Terry, Seamus and Paula Rafferty for the beautiful music and to the soloists Tara Russell and Annamarie Boyle.
To all those who provided a guard of honour: St Patrick’s College, Banbridge, St Colman’s College, Newry, Sacred Heart Grammar School, St Mary’s High School, Our Lady’s Grammar School, St Nicholas’ Monastery NS, Dundalk, St Patrick’s PS, Hilltown and Ballyholland LGFA.
Special thanks to Ballyholland Harps for managing the traffic during the wake in such inclement conditions and for hosting the afters.
Thank you to the staff of Diamond’s Restaurant, Warrenpoint for the beautiful meal after the funeral mass.
We are very grateful to all those who donated to Evora Hospice in memory of Fionnuala.

Fionnuala’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday 3rd January at 7:30pm in St Catherine’s Dominican Church, Newry.
