John, Peter, Mary and the entire family circle of the late Fr Brendan wish to express their sincere thanks to all those who sympathised with them in their recent bereavement.
A special thanks to Fr Simon Lodge for celebrating the Requiem Mass and his pastoral care to the family. Fr Chris McDermott for his all his assistance in organising the funeral, his spiritual support, guidance, and receiving Fr Brendan into the church the evening before the funeral. Thanks to all the Priests and Religious who attended the reception and funeral and provided prayerful support since Fr Brendan’s passing.
Thanks to Bronagh McIlfatrick for the beautiful music; the church sacristan and volunteers, Michael Davitts GAC for use of their facilities and Arbutus Catering for providing refreshments after the funeral, and Gavin Toner who prepared the grave.
The family wish to especially thank the kind relatives, friends, neighbours and members of the wider community who helped them during this difficult time. Thanks to those who messaged, sent cards, sent donations and those who gathered along the route to the Church and attended the funeral, we are truly grateful.
The Holy sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for the intentions of all.
The month mind Mass for Fr Brendan will be celebrated on Sunday 9th August 2026 at 12 noon in St. Mary’s Church, Craigavole.
