We, the family of the late Francie Talbot, wish to express our sincere thanks to all those who sympathised and supported us during our recent sad bereavement of our loving Father and Grandfather.
We are most grateful to our extended family, friends and neighbours for their help and support during the wake. We would like to thank everyone who attended the wake, funeral mass, sent mass/sympathy cards, messages, telephoned, posted on-line tributes, sent floral tributes and brought gifts to our home.
We sincerely thank Fr. Eugene O’Neill for his caring and compassionate Requiem Mass and attending Daddy at home. We thank Canon Benny Fee for his assistance with the prayers at the funeral mass and at the graveside and his pastoral support.
Special thanks to Peter Devlin and Staff of M Dorman & Son Funeral Directors for their professionalism, compassion and dignified manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out, Gary Harte for preparing Daddy’s final resting place.
We thank the staff at Stewartstown Health Centre, particularly Dr Millar, Dr Fitzsimons and the local District Nursing Team for their compassionnate care to Daddy and Kelly’s Pharmacy Stewartstown.
Our thanks to Damien Donnelly and Lorna Gervin for the beautiful music which enriched the mass; to the eucharistic ministers; sacristans; Roost and Roux and Staff for providing food and refreshment after the funeral; Brackaville Owen Roes GAA for the use of their facilities; Kevin McElvogue for supplying the marquee and Margaret Corr (flowers) for beautiful grave arrangements.
We are grateful for Brackaville Owen Roes GAA members for their support during the wake and for the guard of honour on the morning of the funeral
and to Cllr Nuala McLernon (SF) and committee members for honouring Daddy.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope this acknowledgment will be accepted by all as a token of our appreciation and gratitude.
Daddy’s Months Mind Mass will be celebrated in St Mary’s and St Joseph’s Church Brackaville Road on Monday 14th September 2026 at 7.30pm.
