We, Bernadette, Siobhan, Dolores, Robert and Angeline along with our family, wish to thank all those who supported us during the recent loss of Francie.
To all our family, friends and neighbours who paid their respects at the wake, sent messages of support, brought food to the house, brought Mass cards, attended the funeral or offered support in any way, we truly appreciate it, it meant the world to us.
Our sincere thanks to the staff, nurses and doctors at Kilkeel Medical Centre who looked after Francie.
Our deepest gratitude goes to the nurses on the District Nurse team and the Life and Time team who looked after Francie with such care and dignity in his last days.
The Funeral Mass was a beautiful celebration of Francie's life, and we are forever grateful to those who helped make it such a fitting tribute to him.
We wish to express our deep gratitude to Fr Nicky Hennity and Father Cahill for celebrating the Funeral Mass and providing him and our family with great comfort during his final few days and the wake.
To Eunice Downey for the beautiful music at Massforth and Padraig Rooney for the music as he left home and arrived at Massforth -it was just as Francie had hoped, and for that we are so grateful.
To those who provided a guard of honour from Atticall GAA and Band - thank you.
Special thanks to our cousins and the Morgan family for your help at the wake.
Thank you to the staff of the Kilmorey Arms, Kilkeel, for the beautiful reception after the Funeral Mass.
We are very grateful to all those who donated to Life and Time, and the Friends of the Belfast Cancer Centre in Francie's honour.
Our sincere thanks to Nicky and Paul Doran for their compassion and professional handling of the funeral arrangements.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our sincere thanks and appreciation.
And to Francie, whilst your presence is missed every day, our memories are cherished forever.
Francie's Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Sunday 25th January 2026 at 10.15am in Holy Cross Church, Atticall.
