Veronica and the family of Francis/ Francie McFadden would like to extend our most heartfelt thanks to everyone who attended the wake and funeral and to all who offered their support, condolences, messages, Mass cards, donations and acts of kindness Your kindness and love have carried us through in ways we will never forget.
We would like to say a special thank you to Patricia, the Palliative Care team and the staff in A&E and Ward 32 in Altnagelvin Hospital, who treated Francie with such care and dignity during his final days. Also, thanks to Fr Canny who visited and administered spiritually to dad in those difficult few days.
Thanks to Sarah McGarrity for her beautiful singing and music, and everyone who took part in the Mass, making it a beautiful and fitting service for dad.
To Sr Clare Crocket whose presence was felt throughout the mass.
A very special thanks to Fr Mongan for his spiritual ministry to Dad and the family, at the Requiem Mass and the later peaceful burial; and to Fr Mc Geehan and the priests of the Three Patrons who called throughout the wake to offer prayers and support.
Thank you also to the staff at An Gianan Hotel.
We would also like to express our sincere appreciation to W J O’Brien & Son Funeral Directors, Eglinton for their professionalism, empathy and care in helping us through this time and for ensuring everything was carried out with such dignity and respect.

Francie’s month’s mind mass will take place on Monday May 11th at 7pm in Steelstown Chapel. All welcome.
