Francis (Frankie/Frank) OWENS

OWENS (Belfast, formerly Ballygawley) The family of the late Francis (Frankie/Frank) Owens wishes to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with and supported them in their recent sad bereavement. We are very grateful to our relatives, colleagues, ex-colleagues, neighbours and friends who visited the house, sent Mass cards, messages of sympathy, brought gifts and flowers, attended the funeral and cremation, or who helped in any way. We would also like to thank Fr. Denis Luddy CSsR (Parish of St Gerard, Belfast) who concelebrated the funeral Mass and Rev.

Stephen Ward (a cousin of Frankie and Deacon in the Diocese of Derry). We owe a special word of thanks to our good friend Fr. Michael McCaughey PP (Parish of the Three Patrons, Derry) who has given us so much support over the years and who was chief celebrant of the Requiem Mass. We are also grateful to Clare Galway who provided such beautiful music. Thanks also to O'Kanes Funeral Directors for the dignified and professional funeral arrangements and to the staff of Newtownabbey Crematorium.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgment will be accepted as a token of our sincere appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.

Frankie's Month's Mind Mass will be celebrated in St. Matthew's Church, Garvaghy on Thursday 29th June at 6.00 pm.
