Francis McClatchey (Keady) died 11th July 2026
Francis' sisters Patricia, Clare, Margaret, Marian and Ann, brother Austin, nephews, nieces and extended family would like to thank all those who sympathised with them during their sad bereavement. Francis lived his life privately and peacefully so it was beautiful to see so many people attend the removal to the chapel and the funeral and share their stories about Francis. We thank Canon Sean ONeill from keady parish for his pastoral care of us as a family and for celebrating a very fitting funeral mass and to Catherine and Dermot for the wonderful music which added so much to the celebration of the funeral mass. Thanks also to the sacristan team for preparing the church for Francis' overnight repose and the funeral.
Francis lived his life largely privately and independently but when he was unable to do so he received great care and support from Dunlarg Care home and we want to acknowledge their kindness and of course his GP team and Acute Care at home team for their involvement.
Finally to Richard the gravedigger and all at Mone funeral Directors for the complete and professional handling of all the funeral arrangements.
At the risk of failing to mention someone we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a sincere token of our appreciation.
Francis' month mind mass will be held in St Patrick’s Church Keady on Monday 10th August at the 7pm novena mass
