Frank DOWNEY
The Downey family would like to express their sincere gratitude to all who attended Frank’s wake and funeral. A special thanks to Father Michael McGavigan, Fr Roni Zacharias and Fr Stephen Hawley, who attended Frank in his final weeks and for the beautiful service by Fr Roni.
Thank you to Fr McCauley and Fr Doherty who called to the house.
We greatly appreciate the support from friends and neighbours over the past weeks. Thank you to all who brought flowers, Mass cards and donations to Foyle Hospice. The care that Frank received in his final weeks from the Acute Care at Home team was compassionate and dignified, which brought great comfort to the family. Thanks to the Stroke and District Care teams who attended Frank.
We are thankful to WJ O’Brien & Son Funeral Directors for the professional and dignified manner in carrying out the funeral arrangements.
It would be impossible to thank everyone individually, so please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our heartfelt gratitude.
Frankie’s Months Mind Mass will take place Sunday 13th September at 9.45am at St Patrick’s Chapel, Pennyburn.
