The family of the late Fred Fletcher (Armagh) wish to express their sincere and heartfelt thanks to everyone who offered their support, kindness and sympathy following Fred's passing.
A devoted husband of the late Dolores Fletcher (3rd March 2026), loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and a loyal friend to so many, Fred will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.

We are deeply grateful to our family, friends and neighbours for the kindness shown to us throughout the wake, funeral and the difficult days that followed. Your visits, prayers, phone calls, messages, Mass cards, sympathy cards and every thoughtful gesture brought us great comfort at such a sad time.

Our heartfelt thanks to everyone who came to pay their respects, attended the funeral and lined the route to Lakelands Crematorium as Fred made his final journey. The love and respect shown to Fred and our family will always be remembered.

A sincere word of thanks to the Hospital at Home Team, Enable Care, Marie Curie, Craigavon Area Hospital, the GP Surgery and everyone involved in Fred's care. Your compassion, kindness and support throughout his illness meant more than words can express.

We also wish to thank Rev. Fr Barry Matthews for his pastoral care, prayers and comforting words.

Finally, our sincere appreciation to Mone Funeral Directors and Lakelands Crematorium for the dignified, caring and professional manner in which every aspect of the funeral arrangements was carried out.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a heartfelt expression of our sincere gratitude to all who supported us during our time of loss.

Fred's Memorial Mass will be celebrated in St. Malachy's Church, Armagh, on Monday 17th August at 7.30pm. Everyone is warmly welcome to attend and join us in remembering Fred.
