CALDWELL, 14th January 2026, peacefully at his home, 33 Hatmore Park, GEORGE, beloved husband of Celine, loving father of Lisa, Christopher and Jonathan, devoted granda of Lauren, Alex, Brendan, Ethan, Eden, Davin, Kaelan and the late baby Emily, dear father-in-law to Barry, Rachel and Lisa, cherished son of the late Mary and William, dear and loving brother of May, Billy and Martin, and a caring uncle to all his nieces and nephews. Dearly loved and will be sadly missed by the wider family circle, his friends and neighbours.

George will be reposing at his home on Thursday 15th and Friday 16th January from 11:00am to 10:00pm.

Funeral leaving his home on Saturday 17th January at 9:20am to St. Eugene’s Cathedral for Requiem Mass at 10:00am. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery.

Family flowers only please, donations in lieu, if wished, to Northwest Cancer Centre, WH&SCT, Financial Accounting Department, Administration Offices, Gransha Hospital, Derry, BT47 6TJ.

Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul. Our Lady of Lourdes intercede for him.
