Acknowledgment for the late Mr George Martin 18th August 2026.

The family of the late George Martin would like to express our sincere thanks and gratitude to all the kind relatives, friends and neighbours who sympathised with us in our recent sad bereavement.

We would like to thank everyone who called at our home, brought refreshments, sent sympathy cards, telephoned, helped in the home during the wake and those who attended the funeral service.

We would also like to thank the District Nurses who attended George at home, the doctors, nurses and staff of Rathfriland Health Centre, Hospital at Home staff, and Daisy Hill Hospital for their care.

A word of thanks to Rev Liam Rutherford for his pastoral support and for leading the services in the home, church and graveside. Also, to Elizabeth Ellison for providing the music, and to Simply Good Catering for supplying the funeral refreshments.

We extend our gratitude also to all those who have kindly donated to Arthritis UK, in lieu of flowers.

Finally, a special thanks to Milne Funeral Services, for the care and compassion shown to us as a family and for the dignified and professional manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our heartfelt
appreciation.

'Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.' Matthew 5:4.
