The family of the late Mr William (George) Eric McCartney, who passed away on 21st August 2026, would like to express their sincere appreciation and thanks to all those who sympathised and supported them during their recent bereavement.
We would like to thank the staff of the Royal Victoria and Lagan Valley hospitals who cared for George.
Special thanks to Rev. Elaine Pentland for the beautiful funeral service celebrating Georges life and for her prayers and support for the family at this difficult time.
Grateful thanks to everyone who sent cards and messages of sympathy, attended the funeral, gave donations in lieu of flowers to NI Chest, Heart and Stroke.
