Gerald (Gerry) McGIVERN
McGIVERN Gerald (Gerry), April 28, 2026 Belfast City Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. Devoted husband of Flo and cherished father of Ciaran, Gerald, Damien and Sarah. Beloved grandfather of Anna, Emmet, Ollie, Eoghan, Eden, Orlaith and Eileanór, and dearly loved father-in-law of Phil, Cheryl and Cathy.
We softened up your pillows and tried to ease the pain, we prayed to God in Heaven to make you well again, then we heard God’s whisper, “I’ll take you in My care, for in this world of suffering, you ve really had your share”.
Gerry’s remains will leave his family home at 8 Strathmore Park, Belfast at 1015 am on Friday 1st May for 1130 am Requiem Mass at Holy Cross Church, Ardoyne followed by burial at Carnmoney Cemetery.
